SHELLEY J. EPSTEIN, MD

Dr. Epstein is board certified in general psychiatry. Dr Epstein received her psychiatric training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center/New York State Psychiatric Institute, after graduating from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Princeton University. 

She is currently the Director of Psychiatry at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center, Smithtown, and has been working in both inpatient and outpatient settings since joining North Shore Psychiatric Consultants in 1992. 

Dr. Epstein holds added qualifications in geriatric psychiatry, serves as the Director of the new Electroconvulsive Therapy Program at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center, and participates in the North Shore Psychiatric Consultants Buprenorphine Addiction Program.
